The Road Ahead

First off, I want to say thank you SO much to everyone who has purchased my book. The reviews have been extraordinary, and I really appreciate them and all the support you’ve given so far. For those of you who haven’t read it yet, it’s available on Amazon right now in paperback and e-book form, and look for an audiobook version and a trade paperback in the near future.

So for those of you who aren’t on the Book Of Faces, the NRA furloughed me at the end of October, which sucked. The good news is, I’m working as a middle school English teacher for the past month and will have that job for as long as I want it. Will the NRA hire me back? Dunno. It would be nice if they do, but in the meantime, teaching pays the bills.

I am still connected to the gun world, though. I’m not going to SHOT this year, (which sucks), but I am writing for Lipsey’s, Davidsons and Springfield Armory as well as trying to spin up my church’s security team.

If I had to pick a word for 2026, that word would be “opportunity,” and lots of it.
