Dream No Small Dreams

Dream No Small Dreams

“Dream no small dreams, for they have no power to move the hearts of men”

– Goethe

For the past 25 years, there has been a manned space station flying over our heads.
That’s cool.
Space X is testing a rocket that has the potential to make flights to Earth orbit as costly as a first class air travel.
That’s cool.
The Parker Solar Probe recently flew through the Sun’s corona in order to make scientific observations, and did so at a staggering 430,000 miles per hour.
That too is cool.
Yet somehow, all of doesn’t inspire our imaginations the same way that a trip to Moon does. The moon is real, it’s our closest neighbor in space. It’s a constant, inescapable reminder that yes, there is more to the universe than this ball of rock we currently live on. The moon cannot be ignored. The moon must be acknowledged. The moon is our rally point, our first step, the place where we’ll go to on our way to everywhere else. There are new worlds to visit, new dreams to dream, new lives to build.
The moon is where we’ll start doing all of this, and more.
If not us, then who?
